Lumber

Largest variety of sauna quality lumber available on the internet! Proper sauna tongue and groove paneling woods are typically kiln dried to 8% moisture, which stabilizes wood fibers for sauna use. This greatly reduces warpage and shrinkage of boards once installed. The most popular sauna wood paneling types are tongue & groove white aspen and western red cedar. Complete your sauna wood paneling installation with a trim package of cove molding, baseboard and door trim in Cedar or Basswood.

Superior Saunas Sample Pack
1Vapor Barrier Sample - close-upAluminum Foil Sauna Vapor Barrier
One of the necessary components for traditional sauna room construction. Foil vapor barrier will protect the building structure by blocking moisture from getting inside walls. Optional high temperature foil tape is recommended for best results when sealing the seams. Staple foil vapor barrier behind T&G sauna wood paneling on walls and ceiling. It also adds 1R insulation efficiency by reflecting radiant heat back into sauna room. Sauna Foil Vapor Barrier is also commonly used in walls near tub/shower for bath room remodeling. This is the proper sauna foil vapor barrier made for new construction or remodeled saunas. Special foil sauna vapor barrier outlasts plastic vapor barriers which will deteriorate from heat and release gases (and no longer protect walls from moisture). Gain 1R of insulation and the reflective heat efficiency of alum foil radiating behind the paneling. THE BEST heat reflective vapor barrier made for any heated structure. Available in 250' or 500' lengths, both 3' wide.
2Stainless Steel Nails - close-upStainless Steel Finishing Nails
Make sauna wood T&G paneling and trim installation a breeze and ensure your sauna walls will stay "streak free" for the life of the sauna. Other types of sauna nails will eventually corrode and leave streaks and stains on sauna wood. Choose from several different types/sizes of bonded nail packs to fit a variety of pneumatic finishing nail / brad nail guns. Stainless Steel Nails are typically not found locally, so we order these in Large quantities and pass the savings on to you. Available in 16 or 18 gauge in boxes of 500, 1000 or 2500. Don't have a nailer? Not a problem, we stock the brad nailer gun you need to get the job done. Works with almost any air compressor.
