Easily snap together a steam or infrared sauna floor (duckboard) in minutes. These beautiful square tiles are made with clear Western Red Cedar (no knots) and utilize an easy snap together plastic grid base. Most saunas are used dry or with some water on the sauna heater rocks for steam. Any excess Water flows through wood on plastic grids, then evaporates off of floor. Floor temperatures in saunas are always much cooler, so Cedar tiles with plastic base are completely safe to use. The classic style can be set in conventional brick pattern or with all wood slats aligned in the same direction. Call to order for 5 cases (50 tiles) or more, for huge volume discounts.
Recommended to order enough tiles to cover the walking area in the sauna. For example, a 4' x 6' sauna may have walking area space of 18" x 72', so 12 tiles will cover. It is best to have enough tiles so tile edges recede under the sauna benches a few inches. Per tile coverage is 11-3/8" x 11-3/8" so for long rooms add more tiles to trim fit right up to wall edge.
