Description
Pure aluminum foil, 48" wide roll, tape optional. A vapor barrier is a crucial component for traditional sauna room construction. Foil vapor barrier will protect the building structure by blocking moisture from getting inside walls and is used by most sauna manufacturers. Optional high temperature foil tape is recommended for best results. Staple foil vapor barrier behind tongue & groove sauna wood paneling on walls and ceiling. It also adds 1R insulation efficiency by reflecting radiant heat back into the sauna room. Foil Vapor Barrier is also commonly used in walls near tub/shower for bathroom remodeling.
This is the proper sauna foil vapor barrier made for new construction or remodeled saunas. Foil vapor barrier outlasts plastic vapor barriers which will deteriorate from heat and release gases (and no longer protect walls from moisture). Gain 1R of insulation and the reflective heat efficiency of alum foil radiating behind the paneling. The best heat reflective vapor barrier made for any heated structure.

INSTALLATION: Aluminum foil vapor barrier is clean, light and easy to install by tacking or stapling. Installs behind sauna wood paneling with reflective side facing in towards you (sauna interior). Overlap seams approx 2-3" inches for effective seal. The best results are achieved by sealing joints with the high-temperature Aluminum Foil Tape (other types of tape will deteriorate from heat).

FAQs
What is the timeline for shipping?
Ground Shipping
We utilize FedEx and USPS for shipping our ground orders. We ship Mon-Fri. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Once a shipment has been created you will receive the tracking information via email. Typical fulfillment time is 1-2 business days from the date of purchase. Transit times can fluctuate depending on the shipping address, but are usually delivered in 2-4 days.
Expedited Shipping
If you are interested in expedited shipping (overnight or 2-day) please reach out to our helpful sales team. Please call 1-877-872-2806 or email info@superiorsaunas.com. We use FedEx for all expedited orders. Orders must be made before 12pm to ship the same day.
What should I expect with freight orders?
Once a freight order is placed (door, heater, lumber, prefab, etc.) it enters our fulfillment queue and is packed in the order it was received. Typical fulfillment times are 2-3 weeks. Once an order is ready to ship you will receive the tracking information from our carrier (Valley Companies). You may need to check your SPAM/Junk folder because these emails can be filtered there. Please allow 1-2 weeks for transit time. The delivering terminal will reach out 24 hrs. in advance of the delivery. You do not need to be present at the time of delivery. The shipment is delivered curbside or to the first dry location. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. *Note we cannot guarantee delivery timelines and work off estimates with the shipping company directly.
What is the return window?
Return may be made if it was sent by Ground Shipping and must be made within 30 days of receiving your goods.
If it is shipped by Freight, your return is dealt with on a case-by-case-basis.
We will not accept returns for any custom products.
