Superior Sauna & Steam (based in Ashland, WI) provides custom sauna solutions for residential and commercial sauna builds. In November 2023, Superior launched The Yard, located in the Kingfield Neighborhood of Minneapolis, to serve as their Sauna Showroom and experiential space. Sauna enthusiasts can also find Superior Sauna Events & Experiences at their various residency locations such as Pryes Brewing.

We encourage guests to wear whatever they feel most comfortable sweating in. All guests are welcome to wear sports bra + athletic shorts / pants in place of a bathing suit.

A casual hosted sauna experience with access to the various saunas and bonfire lounge. Guests are encouraged to flow as they wish in and out of the saunas, while sharing space with other sauna obsessed Community Steam guests.

It’s best to arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled session time. This creates some room for you / your group to check in with the Superior Host, change before your session starts, and enjoy more time experiencing the quality heat in the sauna.

The Pryes Brewing X Superior Sauna Experience is located outdoors, directly in front of the Pryes Brewing building. When you first enter the sauna area, a Superior Sauna Host will greet you / your group. The Check-in station is located inside the first Mod Pod / Pryes Cabana sauna unit on the right upon entering the outdoor sauna space.

YES - there is a hydration station with BOTH water + electrolyte beverage located in the locker / changing room!

YES - There is a hydration station to the right of the Host Check-In. Guests can also order water by scanning the Pryes QR codes located on the surrounding tables throughout the sauna space.

We only allow closed containers of rehydrating beverages like water, electrolytes, and other similar options inside the sauna. Pryes food and beverage is not allowed inside the sauna for sanitation purposes.

The saunas are heated to temperatures between 176-200 degrees fahrenheit. Guests are always welcome to speak with their Superior Sauna Host to make adjustments to the heat temperature.

Yes - Bring the kids for family sauna time! Family Friendly hours occur anytime before 5 pm. No reservation required for children under the age of 13. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, we also offer private group bookings and buy outs for privately hosted! If you'd like to host your own sauna party, please email events@superiorsaunas.com.

Yes - Guests can reserve a Superior Mod 6 / Pryes Cabana unit (6x person capacity) for 90-minute Private Group Bookings. To accommodate larger groups / host a take-over event, please email events@superiorsaunas.com.

The saunas available for Superior Sauna Events & Experiences are NOT wheelchair accessible. If you or someone in your group requires greater accessibility, please call or email (612)-986-2397 paige@superiorsaunas.com ahead of time to discuss how we can accommodate your visit.

We require 24-hour notice of cancellation in order to issue a full refund. The sooner you can let us know the better! Please email events@superiorsaunas.com to reschedule or request a refund.

If you are within the 24 hour cancellation window this is subject to review, and we will work on rescheduling the booking depending on additional availability.

Updates to reservations after the booking timeframe are subject to a fee.
