Superior Sauna & Steam is Bringing the Heat to Bayfield Applefest

Applefest is a tradition. For 63 years, Bayfield has celebrated fall with orchards, apple pies, parades, and community. This year, we’re proud to add another layer to that tradition: the authentic sauna experience.
From our home base in Ashland, Superior Sauna & Steam is bringing the best of what we do right to Applefest. That means functioning wood-fired saunas, guided programs, free community steam sessions, and even the debut of two brand-new modular sauna models.
What We’re Bringing
For the first time, Applefest visitors can step inside:

The Mod6 Sauna – our flagship prefab built in partnership with Thermory USA.

Soluna & Oblique – two brand-new modular saunas making their public debut at Applefest before their official launch later this fall.
Alongside these builds, our team will be running programming all weekend long, designed to give festival-goers a taste of authentic sauna culture.
