WHY ARE CARIITTI’S LIGHT BARS a MUCH BETTER and MORE DURABLE OPTION for SAUNA USE THAN LED STRIPS
Standard LED strips consist of small LED chips along the length of the strip, and each of them will wear our randomly on their own pace, which means that there will be gaps in the light line over time, and/or the light is “dotted”.
Cariitti's light bars have light heads on both ends of the optical bar and the light is “shot” from both ends of the optical bar, so the light line is even and will stay so over time.
Also the structure of the Cariitti’s light bars is specifically designed for sauna use, the led components carefully selected for use in hot and humid spaces. Cariitti has 25 years of experience in lighting manufacturing, especially in sauna and spa lighting.

INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTALLATION
- The power supply is mounted in a junction box, IP55, max. Ta 131 °F.
- The junction box can be installed inside the sauna, on the wall under the benches.
- The maximum installation height of the junction box is 1.8 ft from the floor, please see the installation manual.
- The maximum installation height of the bars and the LEDs is 5 ft from the floor.
- The optical light bar can be shortened, with a circular saw or similar.
Light switch is not included. We recommend using a regular light switch (push-to-dim) with your sauna light set, such as: Leviton switch 5655-2W or Zooz Momentary Push-Button in-Wall Switch ZAC99 from Amazon.
ARE CARIITTI LIGHTING SETS DIMMABLE?
Yes, Cariitti sauna light sets are dimmable. Cariitti lighting sets can be dimmed with a regular push-to-dim dimmer, such as: Leviton switch 5655-2W or Zooz Momentary Push-Button in-Wall Switch ZAC99. The dimmer is not included in the Cariitti sets but can easily be bought from your local hardware store or Amazon.
Cariitti has tested the Leviton model 5655-2W, and it works as a dimmer because the driver in the light set has a dimming function in it. The same switch may not work with other light sources but with the Cariitti lighting sets it works for on/off and dimming:- Short push - on/off
- Longer press – dim down/brighter up
- When you stop pressing the switch, the level of brightness stays as is

FAQs
What is the timeline for shipping?
Ground Shipping
We utilize FedEx and USPS for shipping our ground orders. We ship Mon-Fri. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Once a shipment has been created you will receive the tracking information via email. Typical fulfillment time is 1-2 business days from the date of purchase. Transit times can fluctuate depending on the shipping address, but are usually delivered in 2-4 days.
Expedited Shipping
If you are interested in expedited shipping (overnight or 2-day) please reach out to our helpful sales team. Please call 1-877-872-2806 or email info@superiorsaunas.com. We use FedEx for all expedited orders. Orders must be made before 12pm to ship the same day.
What should I expect with freight orders?
Once a freight order is placed (door, heater, lumber, prefab, etc.) it enters our fulfillment queue and is packed in the order it was received. Typical fulfillment times are 2-3 weeks. Once an order is ready to ship you will receive the tracking information from our carrier (Valley Companies). You may need to check your SPAM/Junk folder because these emails can be filtered there. Please allow 1-2 weeks for transit time. The delivering terminal will reach out 24 hrs. in advance of the delivery. You do not need to be present at the time of delivery. The shipment is delivered curbside or to the first dry location. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. *Note we cannot guarantee delivery timelines and work off estimates with the shipping company directly.
What is the return window?
Return may be made if it was sent by Ground Shipping and must be made within 30 days of receiving your goods.
If it is shipped by Freight, your return is dealt with on a case-by-case-basis.
We will not accept returns for any custom products.
