Because a sauna delivery varies by region and property access, shipping and installation, the cost can range from $1,000–$12,000+, depending on distance, terrain, and whether crane services are required. We will review all logistics with you and provide a final price before your order moves forward to ensure the delivery goes without a hitch!
3. Approve & Pay in Full to Begin Production
Your deposit remains fully refundable until you approve the final quote and complete full payment. Once full payment is submitted, production begins and the deposit becomes non-refundable.
4. Why We Require Payment in Full Before Production
To maintain accurate production timelines for all customers, we only begin manufacturing once the full balance is paid. This ensures:

Product Details
Our DIY Interior Sauna Liner Kit is the easiest way to have a do-it-yourself sauna. Everything you need to furnish your home sauna project, delivered on one pallet. Wood paneling, heater, door, trim, and all the accessories you need to get started in a custom liner kit. Just add our interior sauna liner kit to your pre-built framed, insulated, and wired structure. This model is for a 4'1" x 5'1" space with a 7' ceiling height. All the features for the kit are listed below, along with additional photos, layout drawing, and literature downloads. The kit comes with assembly instructions and can be installed by anyone with moderate carpentry skills. Hiring a contractor would be a relatively inexpensive option. Unsure about the quality of our wood? Order one of our sauna sample packs. We were the first sauna company in the industry to offer samples cut straight from the same wood we stock to build our saunas. From the paneling right down to the stainless steel nails, you will receive a sample of every part that goes into our saunas.
The drawing is our standard layout for the DIY 4' x 5' Sauna. Note that by purchasing this sauna online, you are approving this layout. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or contact us. All of our saunas are custom, and we can accommodate any changes you need. Our design consultants will be happy to assist you in building your dream sauna.
In a typical traditional sauna, the walls are made of tongue-and-groove wood paneling. Each of our tongue-and-groove boards starts as a 1" x 5" or 1" x 4" board that's milled to perfection. Our paneling is kiln-dried to 6-8% moisture, which stabilizes the wood and reduces warping and shrinking of the boards once they're properly installed in a sauna. Tongue-and-groove paneling can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get started, so we offer a pre-cut option for no additional charge. It can quicken your paneling install process but you must make sure your framing measurements are precise along with door and window rough openings. We will provide detailed plans and framing instructions. If you have any questions please contact us, our design consultants will be happy to assist you. Western Clear Red Cedar
- Cedar sauna woods are strong, lightweight, and generally do not warp or shrink over time. Cedar provides a more comfortable, cooler sauna surface to sit and lean on with an aromatic scent.

Interior Trim Options
- 81' Sauna wood trim to complete your sauna project, just finish cut for an exact fit. Trim is made of clear red cedar to match the cedar paneling. Contact us if you prefer a basswood type to contrast with your sauna wood paneling.

Included Sauna Benches
Commercial-quality meets elegance with our stout sauna benches in clear western red cedar, to match your paneling. For most sauna designs, wall-mounted benches are on rails and easily removed for cleaning or adjustment. We manufacture elegant, commercial-strength sauna benches that will last a lifetime. Our quality benches are soft and cool to the touch with no knots or exposed fasteners to cause discomfort.
Optional: Bench skirting (or valance) is a popular add-on for an elegant look. Skirts are the vertical portion between the upper and lower benches, which gives a more finished look to the bench layout. Built with high-quality, clear (no knots) select red cedar and corrosion-resistant fasteners.

Two Portable Backrest / Headrest - Included in Price
Prefer a portable, movable option to rest your head or back? Save money on the overall cost of your sauna by selecting a pair of portable backrest/headrest options instead of the standard backrest. Comes in red cedar to match your paneling and bench wood choice. The smooth, rounded corners on this headrest/backrest make for a comfortable, relaxing sauna experience. Size: 16" x 16" x 4" tall. Two backrests/headrests are included with this option.
Wall-Mounted Backrest in Matching Woods - Upgrade
With smooth, rounded edges, this backrest makes for a comfortable, relaxing sauna experience. It also allows airflow and helps keep walls clean. Made with clear matching woods for your paneling choice on wall-mounted supports. Size: 9" tall x 1 5/8" deep. 78" length for the top bench and 30" length for the bottom bench.
Included Sauna Finishing
Now that all of your main components are set, we have included all the little extras you need to finish your sauna. We provide you a vent with sliding door to control air flow. Adjustable air circulation allows fresh air into the sauna for comfortable breathing and helps maintain a healthy sauna. Also included are stainless steel finishing nails, which will make installing sauna wood tongue-and-groove paneling and trim a breeze. Stainless steel nails ensure your sauna walls will stay "streak-free" for the life of the sauna.
Heater Options
The sauna heater is the heart of the traditional Finnish steam sauna, providing comforting heat and ample steam when water is poured on the sauna rocks. All of our sauna heaters can be used dry or for a traditional steam sauna. Pour a ladle of water every 3 to 5 minutes to produce steam and bring the humidity level to your preference. Eucalyptus sauna oil can be diluted in a sauna water bucket for a refreshing, vaporized scent that helps relieve cold / illness symptoms. Your kit includes a standard three-sided heater guard at no extra cost.

Door Options
Superior Sauna Doors are made with top-quality materials and craftsmanship, designed for use in saunas. Doors are pre-hung with a heavy-duty, laminated jamb and include all handles/hardware for fast do-it-yourself installation. Our sauna doors are the sauna industry heavyweights; you can expect to enjoy a Superior Sauna door in your sauna for many years of use. We have many door options so please get in touch with us if needing an ADA compliant door or prefer another style.
All Glass Door - Clear or Bronze - Included in Price
24" x 72" Sauna Door has a bronze-tinted or clear glass panel. A heavy-duty four-sided cedar jamb to match your paneling. Jamb is 2-1/4" thick by 4-3/4" deep to prevent warpage. Choose left or right door swing direction when installing, by rotating the door assembly 180 degrees if needed. Comfortable wood door handles with EZ catch magnetic latch.
Half Glass Door - Upgrade
This insulated standard-size sauna door has two layers of knot-free western red cedar tongue-and-groove paneling. The bronze-tinted glass unit is tempered for safety. The Door is assembled in a heavy-duty laminated four-sided jamb. The door includes all necessary hardware: hinges, magnetic latch and wood handles. Superior Sauna quality doors are made with kiln dried furniture grade materials for durability in sauna environment.
Window Options
Sauna Window - Bronze or Clear Glass - Cedar Frame
Available in 18 x 32 or 26 x 38. Our sauna windows are constructed of natural cedar wood for a healthy sauna experience. Quality tempered glass is used for long-lasting durability and efficiency for outdoor or indoor saunas. For safety, we use tempered glass, which breaks into small pebble-sized pieces in case of breakage. Tempered glass is also required for many building codes. This window design was developed after testing many different windows and materials at temperatures up to 300 degress F using no chemicals or plastics..
A quality sauna window designed for a traditional steam sauna or an infrared sauna. Only efficient insulated glass units are utilized in our sauna windows. Sauna windows make the sauna room feel more spacious and allow a relaxing view of the scenery outside. Allow daylight into a remote location sauna, and hang a lantern outside the sauna window during the night hours. For indoor saunas, install an entertainment center on a shelf mounted on the exterior of the sauna.

Snap Together Flooring Tile in Matching Woods
Easily install a durable snap-together, attractive sauna floor in just minutes. Constructed from quality red cedar by Finnish manufacturers, these floor tiles are a perfect complement to your cedar sauna. Or create a striking contrast with an aspen or spruce sauna. Excess water flows through wood on plastic snap-together grids. Floor temperatures in saunas are always relatively cooler, making plastic base tiles completely safe to use. Tiles included will cover the sauna walkway. Corner and edge transition pieces are also available.
Ipe Wood Sauna Floor Tile
Looking for the ultimate in sauna flooring? Ipe (pronounced E-pay) is the finest quality wood flooring material available. Ipe is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay, is 8 times harder than California Redwood, and is guaranteed for 20 years without preservatives! Our Ipe flooring is responsibly harvested from well-managed forests, providing a truly renewable resource. It is as easy to install as our standard snap-together flooring and is completely safe for sauna use. Tiles included will cover the sauna walkway. Corner and edge transition pieces are also available.
Sauna Lighting
Bulkhead Sauna Light - Included in Price
The marine bulkhead light design is one of the more popular options for lighting inside the sauna. This light design is very flexible in terms of where it can be installed, whether it's on the ceiling or the wall. The frame is made from aluminum with a white finish, and the diffuser is made from frosted glass. Many people choose to install a dimmer switch outside the sauna to achieve a desired lighting level for maximum sauna relaxation (a regular on/off switch is also an option).
Upgrade - Compact 180 Light Shade Bulkhead Light Combo
Two Cedar or Aspen Compact Shade/Light Combos. A great sauna lighting combo will add elegance to your sauna. The sauna light fixture is a white aluminum base with frosted glass shade and vapor proof gaskets on the base and glass shade. Supports a 60W lightbulb at 110VAC. Many people install a dimmer switch to achieve the desired lighting level for sauna relaxation. Available in Cedar or Aspen.
Upgrade - Recessed Lighting Kit
The Recessed Lighting Kit is a complete sauna lighting solution with LED multi-color therapy bulbs and white halogen bulbs. This standalone Kit has everything you need to light your sauna. Works separately from any brand of sauna heater control panel. The control panel has 3 buttons to control 3 circuits of lights separately. Low voltage power supply control box plugs into a standard 110V outlet and uses about the same wattage for 8 lights as compared to a single 100W light bulb.
Accessories
No Sauna is complete without a few of the necessary accessories. We provide you with the absolute critical items, a pine bucket, aspen ladle and pine thermometer included in the base price of your sauna kit. An essential sauna accessory, the bucket holds up to one gallon of water to splash over hot stones to create vapor. You may also upgrade to our standard or deluxe six-piece kits to add a few more perks to your superior sauna experience. Along with a bucket and ladle, they include a combo thermometer/hygrometer, sandtimer, sauna sign, and a 2 oz bottle of Eucalyptus.
