Thermory Mod6 Traditional Social

The Traditional Social Mod6 Sauna Kit features a spacious social layout with L-shaped benching and soft LED under-bench lighting. Designed to seat 6 - 8 people comfortably and equipped, with the powerful and reliable IKI 9kw Corner heater (when selected from dropdown).

Blending classic craftsmanship with modern durability, this sauna showcases a Kodiak brushed spruce exterior, Thermory thermo-spruce interior walls, and a brushed black ceiling. It includes a Thermory premium clear glass door with black hardware and three insulated glass panels, placed on the corner wall left of the entry for a bright and open feel.

Designed for outdoor installation with a pitched roof kit (select: "yes, I need a roof kit") and versatile enough to be installed indoors with or without the angled roof (select: "no, I do not need a roof kit").

Note: the roof appears flat without metal flashing trim when a roof kit is not selected (gallery images 7 & 8).

Proudly and locally manufactured on the shores of Lake Superior, this modular sauna is built to last. It ships flat-packed for easy transport and installation—no heavy machinery required. With 4x the R-value of standard panel or wood stave saunas, the Mod6 is insulated with 100% natural sheep’s wool and built using thermo-treated, 25-year rot-resistant wood.

Flooring Options

The Mod6 was designed from the start to adapt to a wide range of environments and installation styles. Whether you’re building on an outdoor deck, a concrete pad, or inside a garage or gym, the Mod6 offers flexible flooring options to match your space and how you plan to use your sauna.

Use Your Existing Surface

The Mod6 can be installed directly on a solid, level base such as concrete, insulated decking, or a properly prepared outdoor foundation. This approach is ideal for indoor installations, gyms, garages, or custom outdoor builds.

Duckboard Flooring (Add-On)

For installations over decks or hard surfaces, duckboard flooring can be added to sit on top of the existing floor. This option improves comfort underfoot while allowing water to drain freely beneath the sauna.

IPE Tile Flooring (Add-On)

IPE wood tiles offer a premium flooring upgrade with exceptional durability and moisture resistance. Designed to rest on the existing surface, they deliver a refined, spa-like feel for both indoor and outdoor settings.

Integrated Thermally Modified Pine Floor System (Add-On)

For a fully built-in look and feel, an integrated floor system is available for the Mod6. This system creates a seamless interior experience that feels purpose-built rather than added on.

Ships nationwide for a flat rate.

Crate #2: Estimated Weight: 1,400 lbs, Dimensions: 87" x 44" x 53"

No crane, tractor, or truck needed to unload. 

This is a new product launch and demand is high, so please understand that shipping may be delayed. We appreciate your patience while we work as fast and as hard as we can. Please contact us with your order number if you would like to check in on your build's timeline.

• Pre-ordering? Production and crating typically take 6–10 weeks.
• In stock? Lead times may vary. A sales rep will reach out within 2 business days to confirm shipment details and what to expect upon arrival.
• Estimated 1-2 week transit time for shipping
• You will receive an email from Valley Companies with their tracking information 24-48 hours after it ships (please ensure you have looked in your Spam/Junk folder).
• Shipment is delivered to the first dry area if you did not request garage delivery ahead of time. 
• You will be notified via email at least 24 hours before delivery. We are working with Valley to add a text feature in the future, so it is imperative we collect the correct email and phone number.
• You do not need to be present at the time of delivery (unless you are requesting it be brought into the garage). The path to the delivery point should be flat (concrete/blacktop) to use a pallet jack (not backyard or huge distance from curb or driveway).
